Crushing Jesus (D26)

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5)

“In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood” (Hebrews 12:4)

If you are living in a season that seems to be crushing your very life, welcome to your passion. As Jesus prepared for his literal cross, there was a crushing that happened in his life starting at Gethsemane. If you truly want to be his disciple, there will be a crushing cross in your future that ultimately produces an anointing upon your life. God give us strength for this journey!
