Rick Walker

Rick Walker was born in Park Ridge, Illinois just outside of Chicago. His youth was spent in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He attended University of Illinois for his bachelor’s degree and DePaul University for his Masters in Accountancy.

He started his career as a CPA, working for Price Waterhouse in Chicago. In late 1994, he said goodbye to the cold weather and moved to Naples and began to broaden his business career operating his office as a CPA/Financial Planner. He got married after moving to Naples and had two sons, Jacob & Nicholas. When his first son was born in 2000, he closed his CPA office and joined Raymond James Financial and is still with the firm 25 years later. He opened his own branch of Raymond James Financial Services in 2007, and has two other advisors in his office.

Jacob & Nicholas are now both out of college beginning their young adult lives. He and his wife Heidi will be marking their 11th anniversary in January. They now have three boys with Heidi’s son, Taylor.

Outside of work, you may find him tinkering with one of his classic cars. They live in the estates area of Naples with a couple acres of land. They enjoy the nature that surrounds them. They enjoy outdoor activities and good times with good friends.
