Be the Blessing (D40)

“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18)

“Now come and put a curse on these people, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps then I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed” (Numbers 22:6)

As children of God, our words are powerful and creative. Just as the Creator formed the world from his very words, so we shape our world. Balak tried to have the prophet Balaam curse the Israelites, but he would never do that, because the Spirit of God inspired him to speak words of blessing. Be the blessing!
